I’m a Gracemonger

Have you ever heard the term “warmonger”?

I think folks used it a lot in the sixties to describe the people who supported the war in Vietnam.

Nevertheless, Dictionary.com defines a warmonger this way:

a person who advocates, endorses, or tries to precipitate war.
Yeah, that kinda sucks.
No one really WANTS to see war, do they?
I understand there is “a time for war and a time for peace” and “a time to kill and a time to heal” according to scripture. So, I won’t debate that here.
The term warmonger is more about people looking for a fight, not defending their freedoms.
And with that working definition..I chose to be a GRACEMONGER.
I want to be a person who advocates, endorses, and tries to precipitate grace!

let’s be committed to showing unexpected, excessive and scandalous amounts of grace.

And I love the way Andy Stanley describes the balm of grace in his new book, The Grace of God:
When we are on the receiving end, grace is refreshing.
When it is required of us, it is often disturbing.
But when correctly applied, it seems to solve just about everything.

Let’s try the grace approach!?!

Would you join this grace crusade!?! (People of the Second Chance)

Can you be a gracemonger!?!
