Q:Why are we offering you a chance to give to “A Gift of Hope” at this time of year?
A: Many in our church give to the church or other charitable donations in December for tax purposes. This giving seems to always be over their normal giving. Because of the effects of the economy on families and para-church organizations this year, we have designated a purpose for the money.
Q: How much money are we trying to raise?
A: $26,000
Q:Where does this money go?
A:It is to offer hope by providing help to those in our church ($18,000) and the remainder is going to go to Refuge Pregnancy Center ($4000)and Atlanta Christian College ($4000). These are two of the missions we support. It will not go into our general fund.
Q:What should you do?
A: Pray. Ask the Lord if this is something you should give to and, if so, how much. This is between you and the Lord. One rule in giving…never give under pressure.
